Story Time @ Queen Creek Library

Baby Time ~ Mondays 9:30-10 am
Ages 0-18 months with parent or caregiver. Introduce the library and books to your baby as we share stories, finger plays and movement activities. This is a lap-sit program. Registration needed. Mary Lou Fulton Room.

Toddler Time ~ Tuesdays & Wednesdays 10:15-10:45am
Ages 18-36 months (with parent or caregiver). Share stories, rhymes and songs that are just right for your growing toddler. Tickets handed out 15 minutes prior to story time. Limited to 50 participants. Mary Lou Fulton Room

Preschool Time ~ Tuesdays & Wednesdays 11:15-11:45am
Ages 3-6. Join us for story time with great stories, songs, finger plays, and fun! Tickets handed out 15 minutes prior to story time. Limited to 50 participants. Mary Lou Fulton Room.

Passport to Discovery combines art, culture, science and fun in an all-in-one community celebration!

The entire family can enjoy a day of "discovery" and fun through interactive performances on the Cultural Rhythms Stage, hands on art and science activities in the Art Adventures area and Discovery Zone. Satisfy your taste buds and enjoy shopping at our Cultural Connections food court and specialty vendor area.

A signature feature of the event, the fifth annual Queen Creek Salsa Challenge will provide individuals the opportunity to prepare their tastiest salsa recipes to compete for the title of "Queen Creek's Best Salsa." A public tasting will be held with proceeds going to support the Queen Creek Family Resource Center.

Don't forget a bag or basket for the kids to load up on the "egg-straordinary" hidden treats at the scheduled egg hunts!

Farmer's Market and Safety Fair Sat 3/6

Farmers' Market/Safety Fair

A free family event!

Residents looking for a way to enjoy the beautiful springtime weather are invited to join the Town of Queen Creek at the upcoming Farmers' Market and Safety Fair. This highly anticipated event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 6 at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

Residents may purchase locally produced treats and handcrafted items including decorations, jewelry, hair accessories, soaps, greeting cards and other artwork.

Kids can bring their bikes and join the Queen Creek Fire Department to navigate through bicycle obstacle courses. Also on hand will be free fingerprint services, child safety seat inspections, bike helmet giveaways and other safety demonstrations.

Benefit for Landon Smith

There is a benefit event taking place this Wednesday, March 3rd, at the East Valley Barro's Pizza Locations, that will benefit 3-year-old Landon Smith, who was involved in a tragic gun accident February 6th. The participating Barro's locations are:

~Southern/Clearview.
